Kokostudios DIY Chalkboard

Chalkboards are all the rage lately. Especially when a salvaged funky frame is in the mix! Here are the ingredients in KokoStudios' oh so popular chalkboards:

1. A salvaged funky frame of your choosing, primed then painted.
2. Masonite board (found at your local hardware store) cut to fit the frame; primed then painted with chalkboard paint (found easily at any paint store).
3. Elmer's Wood Glue (for attaching chalkboard and frame). It's also a good idea to clamp the frame and chalkboard together while it's drying. Heavy books will work.
4. A funky hanging half-planter found at craft stores, primed, then painted to look like concrete.

Happy Creating!
