I'm not much of an animals in cages person myself, but if I were, you can bet your rear I'd have one of these. What an amazing use for an old armoire. You can make it yourself! Instructions available at CraftZine. Find an old armoire on Craigslist and hop to it people.

Affordable DIY Wall Decor

I cannot remember where I found this photo or this lovely idea, but I am loving these decoupaged blocks as wall decor! Seems like they would be perfect for a child's room.

1.Find an old book or encyclopedia with pictures you love from a thrift store.

2.Find some scrap wood, and dice into small squares.

3. Glue book to wood with white glue and trim edges when dry.
