Copper Inc: Books as Art

Artist Diana Waldon is a lady after our own heart: she turns books into beautiful paintings. We greatly enjoy browsing through her Etsy shop. It's so inspiring! Other than painting and creating, Diana enjoys red wine, and cookies (yet another aspect that makes her a girl after our own heart). She welcomes questions, comments, or tips on great red wines you've tried at her shop: Copper Inc. Thanks Diana, your work is so creative!

Newest Addition

We were so excited to obtain these lovely little cities from our friend at TheOakLeaves. We just had to add them to our terrarium.

Remembering the Early Days

A friend of ours, from TheOakLeaves recently posted on her blog about her first work of art for sale on Etsy. Well, we decided to take that walk down memory lane today as well. This work of art is called "Tree of Life." It was actually the first work of art we ever sold :) It's still our favorite.

Pipodoll: Wintery Wonders

Samantha of Pipodoll loves to create, create, create. She is inspired by so many things; her ever-present pot full of lovely hot tea, the wind and the stars, the smells of autumn and the crispness of winter nights, by the vast collection of folk stories floating around in her head and the presence of her own personal, ever - unfolding fairy tale; her sweet daughter. We are inspired by Pipodoll's simple and elegant prints and can almost hear the fairy tale in the ink...

Groundwork: rooted in beauty

After seeing her gorgeous nature focused pieces, it's no surprise Danna Ray I grew up in a log cabin in the woods of rural South Carolina. As a child, surrounded by forest and lots of crayons, she enjoyed drawing tiny bugs, and tiny plants, and tiny kittens driving trucks . (Danna, you've come a long way from the kittens in the trucks!) Her current work is inspired by exploration, wildness, and the inherent connectedness of all things. These little pieces of imagination can be purchased at www.groundwork.etsy.com.

Alexis Rawlins: Whimsical Realism

Looking for a great new Etsy shop with stunning, graphic prints at very reasonable prices? www.arawlins.etsy.com is the place! Alexis Rawlins is a Los Angeles based graphic designer and illustrator who can draw a mean cupcake and design the hell out of a web page (just check out her portfolio website www.alexisrawlins.com)! We can honestly say we never expected to find ourselves pining away for a rhinoceros until we saw her oh so hip "Rhino Print." Excellent work Alexis, we can't wait to see what's next!
